All major brands including Sony, Samsung, Lg, Nokia, Ifb, Apple and many more are going to establish their own 'Brand Shoppe' in major numbers so they do not have to rely on typical distribution & dealers network. LG has already started taking big steps towards it.

Earlier Indian companies use to work on concept of 'Brand Push' which use to done by help of distribution & dealer network. But when international brands entered Indian market, scenario changed completely.

They worked on the concept of 'Brand Pull'. For which they have invested huge amount in advertising. Due to that, fortunes of many Indian brands for eg. Videocon, Bpl, Goorej and many more changed because Indian brands relying on the fact that their brands are well known between Indian consumers & they do not need to advertise much more but they forget one simple fact that people dies and born every day.The people know your brand are dying every day & people are getting born every day who do not know any brand in the world.

So constant Branding, Advertising & PR is required to become relevant in today changing & demanding market scenario.

DTH boxes are going to be free till next Deepawali or may be before it.

Competition in Lcd Tv segment is going to be tougher because many brands are getting launch on daily basis. Which we have witnessed in past 2 years in Cell Phone industry. In which new entrants were relayed heavily on advertising because in quality all of this brands are near about.
But in Lcd Tv market scenario is completely differ for the new players who are highly motivated by Cell Phone brands success stories.

In India consumer still believe while buying Tv as a long-term investment not like Cell Phones. So when it comes to long-term investment they look forward to establish brands because in the end for 'Mango People' it still matters what brand of Tv they have & how much bigger it is from their relatives & neighbor. Buying cell phone of any brand is an individual decision but buying Tv of such brand is taken by whole family in India.

While the most tough competition is in Laptop/desktop segment because bigger brands like Dell & Sony have lower the prices of their starting range.
Dell has already have their direct selling online channel which is getting stronger day by day in India as more & more new generation is over taking the old generation.
Sony has also started following Dell foot steps for their next success story by going online in USA for selling laptops/desktops. HCL has also started online portal for selling laptops/desktops.

In tv segment also i believe bigger brands will going to start selling Tv online very soon, but not for benefiting consumer but to increase their profit percentages which they have saved by eliminating distributor & dealers network. Sony is already selling its entire of Lcd Tv online in USA.

The future is changing very fast for Electronics. The Brands which were in No.1 position are nowhere. Brands whom we did not now before some time are on No.1 position. For eg. in cell phone brands Nokia was No.1 which was replaced by Apple iphone & now iphone No.1 position is threatened by Google Android based cell phone. What will be the nXt ?

In metro cities likes Delhi, Mumbai & Banglore you can easily see how the nXt Gen make their decesion before buying any electronic gadget. They just do not buy and product by merely seeing its advertisement. They do research on Internet, they read reviews of other people who have bought the product in which they are interested. They discuss with them on Internet. After getting their nerves satisfied completely than only they will buy particular product. Right now this ratio of consumer is less than 1% of the total market. But in the future this 1% of consumer will become 99% and than only the real challenging situation going to be faced by brands because they will loose the power of misleading the consumer by their advertisements.

In India people have their own images for brands. For eg. India consumers are ready to accept Goorej as a brand for refrigerator but not for Lcd tv.

To attract nXt Gen of consumers, brands going to require more & more study of consumer mind set & behavioral pattern & for your surprise Google has already started it.

From where to get a PHD degree?
Well, I am not going to tell you in which subject matter it was.
Then, I proceeded to my custom search engine on my website 'n' typed in PHD.
What I found was really interesting!

A phd in comics, in the top 10 searches with nearly 5 lakh results!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why didn't i found it till now???? i should have done this PHD by the age of 9 only.
When i reached the site all my khayali pulao's were gone!!!!
